Colorwork for Adventurous Knitters: Master the Art of Knitting Stripes, Slipstitch, Intarsia, and Stranded Colorwork through Step-by-Step Instruction and Easy Projects

Colorwork for Adventurous Knitters: Master the Art of Knitting Stripes, Slipstitch, Intarsia, and Stranded Colorwork through Step-by-Step Instruction and Easy Projects - Lori Ihnen This book is great for the knitter who is confident in their basic skills and want to try colorworking. The writer gives you the skinny of the different colorwork techniques and styles including the basic instructions, stitches corresponding easy projects to reinforce the technique being taught.

It is a great primer for someone who wants to get started and try the different forms of colorworking without investing in some of the heavy duty books out there. It introduces just the right amount of information to get you started and to complete a project. It certainly does not provide you a compendium of all the possible stitches or advanced techniques.
