How to Pursue a Princess - Karen Hawkins I love Karen Hawkins. She's writes a fun story with a lot of interesting characters. The love story was okay in this installment but the battling aged matriarchs were the ones who stole the show. The dynamics between the Duchess of Roxburghe and the Prince's grandmother were the best part and always entertaining.

While the premise and the character concepts had potential, I don't think they were properly fleshed out. You really don't get a sense of Lily's resolution and the love triangle was a little flat. The prince's machinations also walked a very fine line as well. What saves the book are the matriarchs of the story and I'm looking forward to see what scheme she has cooked up for the final sister.
