Scandalous Again - Christina Dodd I really like her regency novels versus her paranormal ones. This is the first book in the two part series. Two cousins have been abroad for about four years and resemble each other in appearance but are different in temperament. Your usual set-up in these twin plot set ups. This book deals with Madeline's side of the story. She ends up meeting her ex-fiance at a Maverick like piquet tournament determined to stop her father from a mad-cap scheme as well as retrieve a family heirloom. There is a lot of development between the two characters though a lot with the overall plot of the story. I thought it was tightly written and focussed and I had to finish the book to find out what happened. I very much enjoyed the story.
