Splendid (Splendid Trilogy, #1) - Julia Quinn This novel was really enjoyable. Light, without being ridiculous. I loved Emma and Alex. Both are very funny yet strong characters and neither feel the urge for marriage. Emma's cousins and Dunforth were also excellent supporting characters who added to the wit and humor of the story. The one part that was hard is when the inevitable misunderstanding occurs when everything was just going swimmingly. I found it hard for the two characters to satisfactory overcome that hurdle especially given how strong and proud each of these characters.
