The Laird Who Loved Me - Karen Hawkins I initially read the Hurst series and picked up the last two of this one to read of about the Hurst twins, Catriona and Caitlyn.

I really really did not like this one. Neither Alex nor Caitlyn were likable. Both of them egotistical and self-centered. It is only foiled but far more mean-spirited characters. Even the means of which Alex employs to set up Caitlyn is stupid and unredeemable in my book. It really set a bad tenor that I just couldn't get passed my distaste of the spirit of it. Otherwise, it could have been a fun read if it didn't border on a Dangerous Liaison storyline.
