Raven's Prey

Raven's Prey - Stephanie James, Jayne Ann Krentz This novel was good in some aspects and not so good in others. This ebook re-issue of the original 1980s novel had great suspense. How was she going to convince Raven that his clients were lying and that it was a matter of life and death. The antagonism between the main characters helped the story but the heroine often crossed the line of overly stubborn.

The romantic development was too scant and rushed. It was also very 80s and bordered on chauvinistic and this is coming from one who doesn't mind a good alpha male character.

While the story had its faults, the suspense story was pretty good. What might but off other readers is the 80s chauvinism of the male characters.
