Julia's Spirit (Signet)

Julia's Spirit - Emily Hendrickson This was a cute book and pretty much reads like a light gothic novel. This is Julia and Noel's story. Both are widows from arranged marriages that were disastrous and both have children. We have the usually Dowager who doesn't approve and catty competing misses. but now we have ghosts, a mean nanny and danger.
The story is really more focussed on the ghost and Julia. The children are very delightful. There isn't a lot of development between Noel aside from their partnership in solving the mystery and the mean Nanny. So the romantic resolution seems rushed and almost crammed in as an afterthought.

Aside from that, it was a fun brain eraser with a little mystery and intrigue.
