While this story had potential, it was just to contrived and didn't make too much sense. I really didn't like the characters especially the male protagonist. The other problem was that the whole driving force of this novel or the misunderstanding alone was too weak and makes the characters weak and way more fragile that any turnaround would feel unbelievable.
