Gift of Gold - Jayne Ann Krentz I liked the plot of the novel and enjoyed the development of Jonas and Emerson as well as Caitlin. As much as I like JAK strong female characters, Verity was way too much of a shrew that I couldn't find her endearing at all. She came off more like a brat despite the attempted set up of being the responsible adult-child / devil may care parent relationship. All-in-all, I did enjoy the novel and lived the suspense.
